How much does licensing a clip cost?
This depends on many factors such as the availability of the clip or the time frame of usage. There are also packages available with the license bound to the number of views or clicks.
Why should I as a content owner register my clip?
Registering your clip makes it easy for you to see who is using your content where and if the person or company using it owns the corresponding license.
Why do I need to license broadcast clips if I want to share them? Isn‘t it sufficient to mention/link the content owner?
To make it short: no. If you don‘t own a license you must not share the content. Some content owners turn a blind eye to the usage if they are mentioned but this does in fact not constitute legal coverage.
Which of my own content can be licensed?
You can license any broadcast content you own.
On which platforms can I use the licensed content?
